Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The District Government of Kotabaru, South Kalimantan Province, urged regional work units (SKPDs) in "Bumi Saijaan" (the district's nickname) to realize transparent and accountable governance.
Acting Regional Secretary of Kotabaru Eka Saprudin insisted a joint commitment to realizing transparent and accountable governance, as well as a momentum for reflection to improve the quality of regional development.
The Secretary made his remarks after receiving the results of evaluation of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) office for South Kalimantan on the district 2025 planning and budgeting.
“The results of this evaluation must be used as a guide in improving policies, especially in our five priority development sectors,” he pointed out.
Referring to poverty alleviation, stunting reduction, health, education, and MSMEs empowerment, the Secretary said that in the future, strategic issues such as free nutritious meal program, Red and White Cooperatives, and Sekolah Rakyat must be part of thinking in preparing the regional medium-term development plan (RPJMD).
"Development policies must really be able to answer basic needs of the community," he emphasized.
